Event Summary Ofsted inspection reports frequently refer to a school’s ‘culture of reading’. In the webinar we explore what that might look like and present a range of practical ideas for promoting reading across your school.
Event description The importance of teaching pupils to read and engaging them in reading is a key element of the primary school curriculum. During this short course we will consider a number of important aspects of a reading culture. These include:

• Leading from the top
• The reading environment
• Prioritising time for reading
• Talking about books and reading
• Linking vocabulary and reading
